Collegial collaboration with physicians and nurses to tailor care plans, with thorough documentation in the EMR and a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills.
• Competence with ventilator and non-invasive ventilation management.
• Ability to interpret arterial blood gases.
• Effective communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff.
• Attention to safety, accuracy in documentation, and emergency readiness.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and perform respiratory therapy interventions.
• Operate and manage ventilators and non-invasive ventilation.
• Collect and interpret arterial blood gas results.
• Handle respiratory emergencies with timely, appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop and adjust care plans.
• Document care in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Ensure respiratory equipment is safe, maintained, and ready for use.
