AdventHealth in Orange City, FL is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide expert patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations. You will initiate and manage ventilation, assess blood gases, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality.

With a focus on education and leadership, you will train staff and supervise student preceptorships while maintaining compliance with clinical protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of respiratory therapy; RRT credential required.
• 3+ years hospital experience as an RRT.
• Experience with arterial line placement and blood gas analysis preferred.
• Capability to educate staff and supervise student preceptorships.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and maintains mechanical ventilation; sets and reevaluates ventilator parameters.
• Draws and interprets arterial blood gases; responds to abnormal results.
• Provides CPR and emergency airway management as needed.
• Trains staff and supervises student preceptorships; supports department growth.
