Advocate Health is seeking aRespiratory Therapist at Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. The role supports patient assessment, operates ventilators, administers therapies, and collaborates with physicians and staff.

Requires an accredited respiratory care program graduate with at least an associate degree; RCP license and NBRC credentials within 12 months; BLS certification; and ability to work nights in a 0.9 FTE schedule. A robust benefits package is offered.

• Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program with a minimum of an associate degree.

Responsabilidades

• Uses Respiratory therapy processes to support assessment of patient, including pulmonary diagnostics and interpreting blood gases.
• Operates ventilators in critical and non-critical care venues and assists physicians with procedures.
• Provides prescribed medication therapies and therapies per protocols; educates patients about therapy and self-care.
• Maintains and troubleshoots equipment; ensures safety and proper function.
• Teaches and precepts new teammates and students; collaborates with other departments for patient care.
