CORALVITA Healthcare in Richardson, TX, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for night shifts to assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. You will collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop individualized plans and ensure high-quality care.

Responsibilities include administering therapies, monitoring progress, and educating patients and families. The role requires independence, strong communication, and proficiency with EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or certification as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Strong manual dexterity and stamina for respiratory procedures.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate patients' respiratory status and develop treatment plans based on clinical assessments and physician orders.
• Administer respiratory therapies such as oxygen delivery, aerosol medications, and mechanical ventilation support.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary to optimize respiratory function and comfort.
• Respond promptly and effectively to respiratory emergencies in the hospital setting, including the emergency room.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document all respiratory care interventions using basic computer systems.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and equipment use to support ongoing treatment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards to protect patients and staff.
