Job summary

Virtua Medical Group is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for Burlington Hospital. This on-site, per diem, part-time night shift role offers $50.25 hourly with responsibilities across assessment, treatment administration, ventilator management, and patient education within a comprehensive respiratory care team.

You will operate and troubleshoot gas delivery systems, document care in the medical record, and collaborate with physicians and families to support optimal patient outcomes in

Qualifications

• RRT new graduates accepted.
• CRT with 10 years of experience.
• CRT with less than 10 years will be required to earn their RRT credential within one year.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments and develops individualized respiratory care plans.
• Administers treatments/medications as prescribed by the physician.
• Demonstrates competency in ventilator care (invasive and non-invasive).
• Performs Blood Gas Lab procedures as applicable.
• Provides patient and family education on medications and wellness.
• Sets up and maintains medical gas delivery and humidification systems.
• Documents patient care activities using the hospital information system.
