Responsibilities

• Initiates and/or assists with required respiratory tests and procedures.
• Responds to respiratory emergencies and transports ventilated patients as needed.
• Develops respiratory care plans and recommends therapies to physicians.
• Manages all aspects of respiratory therapy per policies.
• Conducts bedside rounds and educates staff, students, and families.
