Job summary

Springfield Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the 7:00 pm - 7:00 am shift with every other weekend and holidays. The base pay range is $35.00 - $42.00 per hour, with final rate based on education and experience.

The role requires a completed accredited Respiratory Therapy program, Vermont license, NBRC registration, and 1 year of clinical experience, plus BLS and ACLS. PALS and NRP are preferred. Outpatient testing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Completion of accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
Vermont Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
NBRC registration or certification.
One (1) year clinical experience.
BLS for Healthcare Providers.
ACLS.
PALS (preferred).
NRP certificate (preferred).
Two (2) years' clinical experience, including emergency care (preferred).
Experience with outpatient testing, i.e., PFT, stress testing, cardiac monitors (preferred).

Responsibilities

Use Respiratory Assessment throughout all areas of the hospital when caring for patients.
Follow the AARC Clinical Practice Guidelines.
Promote compassionate, efficient, cost effective quality patient care, while demonstrating qualities consistent for the role.
Incorporate teaching principles into all practices.
Show use of written and verbal communication skills in all aspects of the role.
