Job summary

Springfield Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the 7:00 pm - 7:00 am shift with every other weekend and holidays. The base pay range is $35.00 - $42.00 per hour, with final rate based on education and experience.

The role requires a completed accredited Respiratory Therapy program, Vermont license, NBRC registration, and 1 year of clinical experience, plus BLS and ACLS. PALS and NRP are preferred. Outpatient testing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Vermont Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• NBRC registration or certification.
• One (1) year clinical experience.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS.
• PALS (preferred).
• NRP certificate (preferred).
• Two (2) years' clinical experience, including emergency care (preferred).
• Experience with outpatient testing, i.e., PFT, stress testing, cardiac monitors (preferred).

The schedule for this position is 7:00 pm - 7:00 am and includes every other weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Completion of accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Vermont Respiratory Care Practitioner license
• Registration or Certification with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• One (1) year clinical experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (preferred)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certificate (preferred)
• Two (2) years' clinical experience, including emergency care (preferred)
• Experience with outpatient testing, i.e., PFT, stress testing, cardiac monitors (preferred)

Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $35.00 - $42.00 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
