Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee, Inc. seeks a Licensed Respiratory Therapist for the Muskogee Campus to assess, implement, and evaluate respiratory care per hospital standards.

The role includes critical care support, ventilator management, and documentation of patient data. The position offers night shifts, up to $10K sign-on and a $5K relocation bonus, with opportunities for advancement through the Respiratory Therapy Clinical Ladder and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program.
• Valid Oklahoma Provisional / Respiratory Care Practitioner License (RCP) or temporary letter to practice issued by the Oklahoma Medical Board.
• Certified / Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) credential through NBRC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 2 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assesses & delivers care/interventions to patients in non-critical care areas within policy with consideration to patient age, cultural, and psychosocial factors.
• Performs computer entry, verifies physician orders, and documents pertinent clinical information.
• Provides accurate documentation in the medical record according to policy.
• Provides care in critical care areas and operates/monitors ventilators with setting changes.
• Mentors new personnel and participates in projects to improve patient outcomes.
