Sora Resource Group is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a community hospital in Ohio, night shift, 36 hours per week. You will join the Respiratory Care Services team and care for patients across pediatric to geriatric populations.

Responsibilities include ventilator management, airway care, arterial blood gases, EKGs, and on-call duties. Requires CRT/RRT, Ohio license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP. Competitive pay with a $25k sign-on bonus and shift differential.

Competenze

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• NBRC CRT or RRT licensed by the Ohio Respiratory Care Board.
• Current, active State of Ohio Respiratory Therapist License.
• BLS; ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications.
• NRP certification completed.

Mansioni

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments across all patient ages.
• Set up and monitor mechanical ventilators and airway management duties.
• Perform emergency intubation and airway management as needed.
• Monitor oxygen delivery methods and equipment; track side effects.
• Perform arterial punctures for ABG analysis and related complications.
• Perform EKGs and transmit reports to physicians.
• Inspect and safely operate respiratory therapy equipment.
• Assess patient status and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Document data in PCN after services.
• Develop patient/family teaching plans and evaluate effectiveness.
• Participate in on-call rotation and weekend rotation.
• Attend staff meetings and mandatory trainings.

Conoscenze

BLS certified

3+ years experience in cardiopulmonary
