Job summary

Southeast Health in Alabama is seeking a compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide physician-guided respiratory care for patients from neonate to geriatric. This night-shift, 0.9 FTE position emphasizes high-quality patient assessments, therapeutic interventions, and ongoing monitoring in a busy hospital setting.

You will document care accurately, administer bronchodilators and other therapies, adjust treatments as needed, and ensure safety and compliance with department policies

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist with NBRC.
• Current Alabama license to practice respiratory therapy.
• BCLS, ACLS and PALS within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care per physician orders for all ages.
• Administer bronchodilators and other therapies as prescribed.
• Document care accurately and maintain records per policy.
• Adjust therapies based on patient response and priorities.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
