Cayuga Health System is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for full-time night shifts at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY. You will assess, treat, and manage patients across age groups with breathing abnormalities, working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include NY-licensed RRT, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications, and the ability to stand long shifts. Onsite role with a 3 12-hour night schedule; sign-on incentive available.

Qualifications

• Active New York Respiratory Therapist License.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications.
• Education: RRT.
• New graduates and experienced therapists welcome.

Responsabilités

• Performs all respiratory therapy duties in all patient care areas.
• Proficient in mechanical ventilation, NIPPV, patient assessment, tracheostomy care, high flow Oxygen therapy, airway stabilization/maintenance, ABG acquisition and outpatient procedures.
• Communicates changes in patient condition to nursing and providers.
• Performs timely and accurate documentation.
• Participates in patient treatment plans and multidisciplinary rounds.
