Job summary

Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the night shift to support bedside care across our emergency and critical care services. Under the supervision of the Technical Manager and physician requests, you will set up and operate respiratory equipment, perform airway management, administer therapies, and document patient progress.

The role requires CA RCP license, AMA-approved program completion, and 5–7 years of non-intensive respiratory care

Qualifications

• AMA-approved 2-year Respiratory Care Program completion.
• 5–7 years' experience delivering non-intensive respiratory care.
• RCP license in CA required; RRT/CRT/BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Administer aerosolized meds via HHN/MDI/DPI and oxygen devices.
• Perform routine tracheostomy care and weaning.
• Document results in the EMR and educate patients and families.
• Respond to cardiopulmonary arrests and emergency calls.
• Lead and supervise staff and students in respiratory care.
• Assist in neonatal resuscitation and ventilator management.
