Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to support diagnostic and treatment activities for patients with respiratory disease. You will set up and operate equipment, administer medications, perform assessments, and document results in the electronic medical record.

You will lead staff on general medical floors, handle emergency responses, and educate patients, families, and the care team on procedures, devices, and asthma/ventilation management.

Formación

• AMA-approved Respiratory Care Program completed.
• 5–7 years of non-intensive respiratory care experience.
• CA RCP license required; BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Administer aerosolized meds via HHN, MDI, DPI, large volume nebulizers, IPV.
• Provide medications via nasal cannulas and high-flow systems.
• Perform tracheostomy care and weaning.
• Document results in EMR.
• Conduct airway clearance with CPT, cough assist devices, nasotracheal suctioning.
• Assess pulmonary mechanics with spirometry.
• Respond to cardiopulmonary arrests and rapid responses.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and disease processes.
• Provide CPAP/BiPAP as needed.
• Lead and train staff and students; participate in quality improvement.
