Job summary

Amcor helps safeguard materials by supporting the Repro Lead in transforming scrap into reusable product within the Extrusion Department. The Repro Operator ensures accurate scrap handling and safe, efficient operations to keep production flowing.

Responsibilities include operating the repro grinder, loading scrap, weighing and reporting, and assisting with shift coverage. You will work in a loud manufacturing environment with PPE and safety policies in place.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 to 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment or similar.
• Proficiency operating forklifts and baling equipment.
• Ability to read scales for accurate scrap measurement and maintain inventory records.
• Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking and reporting.
• Ability to write legibly and complete documentation accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the repro grinder to process scrap into usable material.
• Load scrap materials into the grinder and baler, ensuring proper handling and processing.
• Weigh scrap from each line and record quantities for inventory and production tracking.
• Complete end-of-shift scrap inventory and submit tickets showing changes.
• Perform daily forklift safety checks and move scrap and bales safely.
• Assist with overtime shifts and Production Packer duties as needed.
• Follow all safety, GMP, and HACCP policies.
