Job summary

Brentwood Hospital in Louisiana is seeking a dynamic House Supervisor, RN to lead nursing care for adults and multiple age groups in a psychiatric setting. You will ensure safe, therapeutic environment and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include staffing the unit, communicating with physicians, managing FTEs and overtime within budget, upholding risk management and infection control, and responding to crises. Competitive benefits and career opportunities with UHS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in Louisiana; CPR certification.
• CPR and CPI/Verbal De-Escalation certifications provided by Brentwood Hospital.
• Night shift experience preferred.

Brentwood Hospital is looking for a dynamic House Supervisor,RN! The House Superviosr, RN delivers quality general and psychiatric nursing care to adult patients typically (18 and up) with psychiatric or emotional disorders, addictive disease disorders or related substance or chemical dependency problems, or those duly diagnosed with psychiatric and chemical dependency disorders, to adolescents (typically age 12 to 17) and children (ages 4 to 11) with psychiatric or emotional disorders and to geriatric patients (typically age 65 and up) with psychiatric or emotional disorders; Serves actively and constructively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, supporting the organization’s and adult, adolescent and child program philosophy of care; to ensure the safety and well-being of each patient.
