Job summary

Walker Center for Alcoholism and Drug Addiction is seeking a Client Support Specialist for the graveyard shift (11pm-7am) to support clients in an inpatient rehab setting. The role emphasizes safety, compassionate care, and adherence to program standards during night hours.

The position requires a high school diploma, CPR certification within 90 days, and successful completion of a Medication Pass Certification within 60 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain Medication Pass Certification within 60 days of hire.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and EMR.
• Ability to operate office equipment (computer, printer, copier, fax, phone).
• Must pass pre‑hire background check, UA, and TB test.
• Must obtain CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, respectful supervision to clients in a structured residential setting.
• Foster a safe, therapeutic environment that supports healing and accountability.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients while upholding boundaries.
• Assist clients with daily structure, schedules, group participation, and recovery activities.
• Monitor client wellbeing and report concerns to clinical/medical staff and supervisor.
• Conduct room searches and belongings checks per policy with professionalism.
