Job summary

Buffalo Rock Company in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Forklift Operator (Receiving) at the Central Hub to ensure accurate receipt and shipment of products and dunnage, moving them to the correct locations in a timely and safe manner.

You will operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, perform pre-trip inspections, verify inbound products against BOL, quantities and expiration, and use RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems to process receiving and moving transactions.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience operating forklifts (stand-up or sit-down).
• Proficiency with RF scanners and WMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Offload from external vendors and replenish stock with accuracy.
• Verify inbound products against BOL, quantities, and expiration dates.
• Move products to backstock and picking locations using the WMS.
• Follow FEFO and SOPs to ensure proper rotation and handling.
