Progressive Physician Associates (PPA) is a large interdisciplinary private practice group serving SLUHN in the Lehigh Valley, PA. We seek a Radiologist Night Reader to interpret ED and trauma imaging, including CTA for stroke, with MRI Brain reading helpful but not required.

Position: Radiologist – Night Reader (Middle and Overnight shifts)

Practice: Progressive Physician Associates (PPA) is a large interdisciplinary private practice group of over 100 providers that includes Diagnostic Radiologists, Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons and Advanced Practitioners. We are the exclusive service provider for St. Luke’s University Health Network (SLUHN) in Lehigh Valley, PA. We are proud to partner with SLUHN to support their Radiology Residency Program.

Our Network: SLUHN, is a growing regional/tertiary network of 13 hospitals, specialty clinics and imaging centers serving the Lehigh Valley community in Northeastern Pennsylvania and Western New Jersey. We are an Academic institution with extensive residency and fellowship programs as well as a Medical School. As a GE show site, the network offers state of the art, standardized equipment across network hospitals and imaging sites, as well as a unified PACS system.

Who we are seeking: PPA is looking to add a Night Reader Radiologist to our collaborative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting imaging from emergency departments and level 1 & 2 trauma centers. Night Reader must possess skillset to interpret CTA’s for stroke patients. The ability to read MRI brain is helpful but not required. Other responsibilities include reading from inpatient and stat outpatient exams, act as a radiology consultant to all other physicians, guide MRI and CT technicians with imaging and protocol questions. We have integrated AI technology into our workflow to optimize efficiencyand reduce diagnostic errors such as fracture and nodule detection and auto impression generators There is 24-hour support from our control center with on-site liaisons tohelp expedite communication withreferring physicians.

Various shift models are available:

• Overnight Shifts: 7 days on, 14 days off
• Early morning or Evening shifts: 7 days on, 7 days off

Qualifications:

• ABR certification, medical licensure/eligibility to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
