Job summary

Progressive Physician Associates (PPA) seeks a fellowship-trained Radiologist – Body Imager for a part-time or full-time role. The practice is the exclusive service provider for SLUHN in the Lehigh Valley and supports their Radiology Residency Program.

Responsibilities include interpreting body MRI/CT/US exams, performing superficial biopsies/FNAs, and engaging in advanced body imaging with multidisciplinary conferences. PA/NJ licensure eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• ABR certification and licensure eligibility to practice in PA/NJ.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation of body MRI, body CT, US and GI/GU fluoroscopy studies.
• Perform superficial biopsies and FNAs.
• Participate in high-volume advanced body imaging including prostate MRI, rectal MRI, and CT/MR enterography.
• Attend weekly multidisciplinary conferences and participate in radiology residency teaching.

Position: Radiologist – Body Imager

Practice: Progressive Physician Associates (PPA) is a large interdisciplinary private practice group of over 100 providers that includes Diagnostic Radiologists, Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons and Advanced Practitioners. We are the exclusive service provider for St. Luke’s University Health Network (SLUHN) in Lehigh Valley, PA. We are proud to partner with SLUHN to support their Radiology Residency Program.

Our Network:

SLUHN, is a growing regional/tertiary network of 15 hospitals, specialty clinics and imaging centers serving the Lehigh Valley community in Northeastern Pennsylvania and Western New Jersey. We are an Academic institution with extensive residency and fellowship programs as well as a Medical School. As a GE show site, the network offers state of the art, standardized equipment across network hospitals and imaging sites, as well as a unified PACS system.

Who we are seeking:

PPA is seeking a part-time or full-time fellowship-trained Body Imager. Work activities include interpretation of body MRI, body CT, US & GI/ GU Fluoroscopy studies and performing superficial biopsies/ FNAs. We do high volume of Advanced body imaging including Prostate MRI, Rectal MRI, Advanced Oncology Imaging, CT & MR Enterography, MR Urography, Elastography & Dual energy CT. There are weekly Multidisciplinary Conferences including Hepatobiliary, Rectal Cancer, Gastrointestinal, Urology, Gynecology, Hematology, Cutaneous Cancer. Interested candidates can also teach in the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program.

Qualifications:

• ABR certification, medical licensure/eligibility to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
