Job summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a Part-Time Ramp Agent in Indianapolis, Indiana for JetBlue operations. The role focuses on baggage handling, safety, and teamwork to ensure smooth airport operations.

Responsibilities include lifting baggage, operating equipment, and reading loading instructions, with shifts from 8:30pm to 12:30am. Candidates must be 18+, have a HS diploma, pass drug tests, and possess a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have high school diploma, GED or six months prior ramp agent work experience.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing, including a drug test.
• Capable of safely lifting up to 70 lbs. continuously.
• Must be able to proficiently speak, read, and write in English.
• Must have current driver’s license with no violations over the past 5 years.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Work is done primarily outdoors. Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Airports and Custom badges/seals

Responsibilities

• Move baggage and cargo on and off aircraft and transport between aircraft, terminals and cargo facilities.
• Operate motorized equipment as needed.
• Read and interpret weight/balance instructions, labels and manifests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
