Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a Night Shift Rail Load Out Operator to load railcars and ensure material is available for shipping. You will inspect equipment, verify car lists, and operate the automated load-out system at the Marble Falls Plant.

Responsibilities include maintaining the load-out system, inspecting railcars, and updating multiple computer systems. Overtime is required, with shifts Monday through Thursday 5PM to 5AM.

Qualifications

• GED/High School Diploma preferred.
• Experience is preferred but not required.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work 8–12 hour shifts, 7 days a week with overtime.

Responsibilities

• Load railcars and ensure material is available for loading.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of the load-out system.
• Inspect railcars for cleanliness and condition prior to loading.
• Verify car list with tag reader and update changes in the computer system.
• Load cars through the automated load out system and bill with the railroad using rail connect.
• Update the shipment master and production reports.
• Report to Supervisor and perform duties as assigned, including overtime.
