Job summary

Hopedale Medical Complex seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging including X-ray, fluoroscopy, CT, and intraoperative imaging. You will maintain patient safety, explain procedures, and deliver high-quality images in a fast-paced environment.

The position is full-time night shift with weekend/holiday rotation as needed. Strong communication, patient care, and teamwork are essential to support the Medical Imaging department.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification.
• Active Illinois Radiologic Technology license.
• CPR/AED certification.
• Ability to work full-time night shift, including weekends/holidays.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients and confirm examinations align with orders.
• Position patients and ensure safety and comfort during imaging.
• Provide safe, compassionate patient care throughout imaging.
• Explain procedures clearly and answer questions.
• Maintain patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Follow radiation-safety standards and department policies.
• Document examinations and ensure proper image labeling.
• Operate imaging equipment and coordinate with care team.
• Support department operations and training of new staff.
