Job summary

Brown University Health in Providence, RI seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform a variety of radiographic procedures under the direction of the Manager Medical Imaging. You will ensure patient safety, explain examinations, and maintain accurate RIS/PACS documentation.

You will rotate across assigned areas, support adult and geriatric patients, and assist with contrast administration when needed while upholding Brown’s values in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
• Current RI license and ARRT certification.
• Clinical experience required for certification.
• Ability to communicate with patients and staff empathetically.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures and ensure patient safety.
• Schedule examinations and manage patient flow.
• Operate radiologic equipment and process images to PACS.
• Assist in contrast administration as needed.
• Maintain RIS/PACS documentation and keep area clean and stocked.
