Job summary

Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Radiologic Technologist I for the Oro Valley Hospital radiology team. The role supports radiographic procedures with emphasis on patient safety, comfort, and regulatory compliance.

You will perform high-quality imaging, adhere to ALARA, and collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to ensure efficient patient care and accurate documentation in PACS.

Qualifications

• Performs radiographic procedures independently with diagnostic-quality images.
• Adheres to ALARA guidelines and participates in Image Gently/Wise programs.
• Prepares patients, verifies orders, identifies patients, and explains procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains imaging equipment and infection control.
• Ensures proper organization of supplies and equipment for patient care.
• Inserts IV catheters for contrast injections when performing CT or MRI per policy.
• Documents findings and image documentation in PACS.
• Communicates with care teams to support efficient patient flow.
• Maintains regular attendance and complies with policies.
