Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• ARRT registration is required for eligibility.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Review requests for procedures and determine region to examine.
• Prepare patients and position them for procedures with care and courtesy.
• Assist Radiologist in performing routine radiographs and adjust imaging equipment.
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to emergencies.
• Document verification and re-imaging as needed using the computer system.
• Collect completed PACS images for interpretation and reporting.
• Maintain sterile techniques and infection control procedures.
• Monitor daily quality control and report equipment issues.
