Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist for a Weekend Program at a 56-bed Southeast Wisconsin community hospital. The role features 12.5-hour shifts (Sat–Mon) with weekend incentive pay, offering direct impact on patient care in a small hospital setting.

The candidate must hold a Wisconsin Radiographer license, ARRT RT registration, and obtain BLS within 6 months. Advanced Radiologic Technology training is required.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school includes completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Radiographer license issued by the state is required.
• ARRT RT registration and BLS certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to intermediate radiographic procedures including general diagnostic and fluoroscopic.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain clinical history.
• Position patients and select exposure factors with radiation safety in mind.
• Label and process images, ensure exam accuracy, and document billing codes.
• Assist and consult with Radiologists and maintain records per regulatory standards.
