Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for the night shift (7:00pm-7:00am) to perform daily QC analysis, tests, and checks on production containers. The role enforces GMP/SQF compliance and food safety standards while participating in continual improvement efforts.

The successful candidate will have QA experience in manufacturing, the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum quality assurance experience required, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. occasionally.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Education and computer skills: Excel, Word and Outlook; Lotus Notes or similar email software.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily QC analysis, tests, and checks on production containers.
• Maintain GMP and SQF compliance and food safety standards.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure security of facility and equipment.
• Identify and record problems; initiate actions to prevent nonconformities.
• Conduct start-up checks and report deviations to Production Manager.
• Perform lab tests to verify customer requirements and review schedules.
