Riverside Mental Health and Recovery Center in Hampton, VA seeks a Psych Tech to support patients in a 24/7 Intensive Treatment Program. You will care for patients of various ages, assist with intake, and coordinate with the care team. Shift is full-time nights with supervision by nursing leadership.

The role emphasizes patient safety, daily living assistance, and participation in therapeutic activities to promote wellbeing and recovery.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
• 1 year behavioral health experience (Preferred).
• CPR/BLS Certification within 30 days (Required) and First Aid within 30 days (Required).

Responsabilidades

• Assess and treat children, adolescents, and adults seeking psychiatric and/or chemical dependency treatment.
• Collaborate with referral sources, patients, families, and team members regarding care coordination.
• Serve as initial contact for patients, families, referral sources and/or allied agencies seeking intervention or support.
