Job summary

Mounds Production Company in Illinois is seeking a Processing Operator II for multi-area duties on the 7pm–7am shift. You will operate dryer and mill room to process clay into finished product and monitor production lines.

The role requires basic mechanical skills, ability to read specifications, and strong safety practices. You will collect samples, perform QA tests, adjust controls, and coordinate with maintenance for repairs.

Qualifications

• Must possess basic mechanical skills.
• Must be able to visually monitor electronic equipment, gauges, and control panels to interpret data and take action.
• Must understand product specifications and process controls.
• Must follow safety requirements and understand PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Operates milling, screening and drying processes.
• Collects samples and performs QA testing.
• Adjusts equipment controls to meet product specifications.
• Troubleshoots issues in the mill area.
• Performs daily routine maintenance and basic repairs with maintenance staff.
• Operates front-end loader and bobcat after training.
• Ensures safety rules and clean work areas are maintained.
