Job summary

Amcor is seeking Processing Operators for the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in Maryland. This full-time position features a rotating schedule with 15 days of work per month and several safety and quality standards, including GMP and SQF compliance.

Responsibilities include operating stretch blow molding machines, inspecting products, and packing containers. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a commitment to safety and accuracy in paperwork

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have excellent attendance.
• Must have good housekeeping skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have knowledge of product identification and basic math skills.
• Able to work in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms.
• Must be able to complete routine paperwork accurately.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Start and stop stretch blow-molding machines to produce quality containers.
• Perform routine inspections, cleaning and lubrication of machine parts.
• Inspect containers using test equipment and visual checks.
• Pack containers into boxes at production speed and stack to build 4 ft units.
• Safely operate lift trucks to move materials.
• Maintain GMP and SQF compliance and follow safety requirements.
• Support packaging as needed to complete orders.
• Identify start/stop of out-of-spec production and adjust accordingly.
