Job summary

Velo3D seeks a Process Technician – RPS Operations to safely run additive manufacturing equipment on a 12-hour night shift in Fremont, CA. You will manage production builds, changeovers, and troubleshooting while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Working in a two-person team, you will help maximize printer uptime, support on-time delivery, and document all activities for effective shift handoffs and communication with Engineering and Maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen/Green Card Holder.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot production equipment.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and monitor multiple RPS additive manufacturing systems throughout the shift.
• Execute scheduled production builds per master production schedule.
• Perform build starts, builds, and printer changeovers.
• Load and replenish consumables while following safety procedures.
• Document production activities and machine status accurately.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Production staff to resolve issues.
