Job summary

Swagelok Ravenna, Ohio is seeking an Independent Process Operator for a 24/7 night shift to perform complex changeovers and troubleshoot non-routine issues. You will ensure safe, efficient production while following standard work instructions and maintaining product quality.

Responsibilities include identifying defects, solving root causes, coordinating with engineering and quality teams, and maintaining equipment reliability. Willingness to work at other Swagelok sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Processing experience preferred or related job aptitude.
• Able to read and follow standard work instructions.
• Recognize functional and cosmetic defects.
• Multi-tasking and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs and meets requirements of previous skill sets.
• Troubleshoot and perform low level maintenance.
• Use machine controls to set up and adjust processes.
• Identify quality issues and determine root cause.
• Manage order flow and schedule adherence.
• Complete routine set-ups independently within target time.
• Notify supervision if capacity is not met.
• Transfer chemicals to labeled containers safely.
• Identify and label chemicals with SDS guidance.
