Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking a Process Operator to run computer controlled process equipment, monitor cooker operations, and perform product quality testing. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 3:30pm–12am, with a strong emphasis on safety and process optimization.

The role requires operating and troubleshooting rendering equipment, maintaining material flow, and coordinating with maintenance to keep systems running smoothly. Industry experience and a safety-conscious mindset are valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversees rendering process from raw material bin to finished goods storage.
• Maintain steady flow of material to cooker and monitor temperatures and steam.
• Operate and monitor control panels and gauges; address process issues.
• Perform periodic preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain clean and safe work area; follow safety rules.
