Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience in Thermal Power plant operations maintaining chillers, boilers, water treatment and BAS.
• Technically skilled, safety-focused, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Related education may substitute for experience per policy.

Responsibilities

• Start up, shut down, and adjust power plant and cooling station equipment per procedures.
• Clean and maintain equipment; monitor operations and keep records.
• Operate control computer systems and troubleshoot issues.
• Inspect equipment for proper operation; report hazards.
• Train and supervise staff; assist with maintenance tasks.
• Complete work orders and coordinate with contractors as needed.
