Job summary

Peco Foods, Inc. is seeking a production worker for day shift in Alabama. You will comply with safety, quality, and plant procedures, inspect products for defects, and maintain efficient production.

You will follow product specifications, use knives and equipment safely, and adhere to JHA/JSA, food safety, HACCP and OSHA regulations. Team and independent work are required, with overtime as needed. The role operates on a day shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with equal opportunity

Qualifications

• No training, education or experience required.
• Urine Drug Test Required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all company policies and procedures with regards to safety, quality, and all plant specific procedures and rules.
• Inspect all product for defects; both naturally and unnaturally occurring.
• Work at a safe pace necessary to maintain efficient production at all times.
• Kow and understand specifications/requirements for each product.
• Safely work with and around knives, scissors, and other equipment.
• Be familiar with and maintain compliance with all applicable departmental and facility job hazard analysis (JHA) and job safety analysis (JSA).
• Be familiar with and maintain compliance of all food safety, HACCP, and OSHA regulations.
• Work well with a team and independently.
• Must be available to wok overtime when necessary to meet production needs.
