Night Porter (Finance)

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Janitor role in the company is responsible for the general upkeep, maintenance, and cleaning of interior buildings, facilities, lobbies, office areas, restrooms, and all areas determined by contract or assigned by the supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Restock locker rooms with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) products.
• Perform GMP cleaning when required.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms in the locker rooms.
• Ensure cleanliness of the locker room and surrounding areas.
• Take out trash and manage recycling within the facility.
• Restock GMP products in various facility locations.
• Restock cleanroom suites with necessary supplies.
• Adhere to all safety and cleanliness protocols, ensuring compliance with GMP and GDP (Good Distribution Practice) standards.
• Perform emergency cleaning as needed during your shift.
• Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor, including environmental concerns like leaks, broken pipes, or damages.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Strong work ethic and high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience is a plus but not required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to perform the following physical activities:

• Stand, walk, lift, climb, talk, hear, handle or feel with hands, reach with arms/hands.
• Lift up to 40 pounds.
• Work in loud environments, such as manufacturing or equipment areas.
