Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group in Maryland seeks a guest services associate to support check-in/check-out and guest requests while performing responsible cleaning of public and staff areas. The role includes setting up meeting rooms and assisting with front entrance logistics.

The position emphasizes teamwork, strong English communication, and the ability to work in a busy hotel environment, with training via the Dalata Academy and opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Check in and out hotel guests as required, and assist with guest requests relating to luggage/porterage.
• Responsible for cleaning areas of the hotel, including lobby, back office, stairways, restaurant and bar floor, public and staff areas, and meeting room floors.
• Clean other areas as directed by the manager and per nightly checklist, including set-up of function rooms and breakfast area.
• Front entrance and exterior areas: keep clean and tidy at all times, empty bins, pick up rubbish.
• Understand and follow hotel fire procedures to ensure safety of staff and guests.
• Set up meeting rooms as required.

Your Job

• Check in and out hotel guests as required, as well as assist with guest requests in relation to luggage/porterage.
• Responsible for the cleaning of areas in the hotel, including but not restricted to the lobby, back office, stairways, restaurant and bar floor, public and staff areas and the meeting room floor.
• Responsible for cleaning other areas as directed by the manager on duty and also as per the nightly checklist, which may include the set-up of function rooms, the breakfast area, etc.
• Responsibility for the front entrance and outside of the hotel and ensuring that it is clean and tidy at all times. This includes emptying bins, picking up rubbish etc.
• To have a full understanding of the hotels' fire procedures to ensure the safety of all staff and guests at all times.
• Responsibility for setting up meeting rooms.
