As a Bar Porter your pay will be $25.32 per hour.
What you'll do
You’lllove what you do and take pride indelighting our guests:
- You willberesponsible forensuring our guests have an excellent Bar dining experience during their day.This will include bar step up and maintenance,assistingwith all guest requests and service requests while upholding our service standards. In addition, ourBar Porterareresponsible for fully stocking the bar, which includes, glassware, wine, beer, soda, water, juices, ice, and garnishes. OurBar Porteralsoassistwith weekly inventory by keeping track of what is needed andassistingputting inventory away upon delivery.Bar Porterare essential to the framework for cultivating relationships with all our guests, including recognizing all in-house and VIP guests all to ensure our guestsreceivesnothing but the best experience.
- Sometimes our guests have special requests involving dietary restrictions, drink and garnish preferences, and even special occasions. Most of these requests are fulfilled by ourBarPorters.
- Our hotels are trulyluxuryhotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. OurBar Porterarerelied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly requiredto talk, and hear. The employeefrequentlyis required towalk and stand for up to 8 hours. Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, use hand,fingerand wrist dexterity. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depthperceptionand the ability to adjust focus.
