Job summary

Babson College in Wellesley, MA is seeking a Pool Maintenance worker for the Third Shift. The role involves testing, monitoring, cleaning, and maintaining the college pool to ensure safe, orderly operation.

You will work Sunday through Thursday from 10 PM to 6:30 AM. This full-time union position offers hourly pay of $31.99 with paid sick leave in accordance with state and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Certified pool operator with knowledge of state pool operating rules and regulations.
• Some related experience and/or training in pool maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, MSDS, and testing instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and maintain logs.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum pool without interfering with daily activities.
• Perform pool chemical testing four times daily and record results.
• Back wash filters and adjust chemical feeding pumps.
• Shock and buffer treatment as needed and remove lane dividers.
• Maintain pool deck cleanliness and safety signage.
• Keep records accessible for inspectors and manage state-required items.
• Request supplies and initiate work orders for the pool.
• Assist in draining/filling the pool when necessary.
• Perform other custodial duties as assigned.
