Job summary

Banner North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO seeks a Polysomnographic Technologist for the night shift to perform diagnostic sleep monitoring and home sleep studies. You will support the Respiratory Team and ensure high-quality data for clinician interpretation.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, registry or NBRC RRT, BLS, and 3 years of sleep testing experience with EEG know‑how. A strong commitment to patient safety and accurate testing is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Registry by the Board of Polysomnographic Technologists or NBRC credential (RRT).
• 3 years of experience in sleep disorders testing.
• Proficient with sleep testing equipment and understanding sleep/wake physiology.

Responsibilities

• Obtain artifact-free sleep tracings reflecting physiologic sleep processes.
• Analyze sleep records and identify sleep stages; document findings per policy.
• Troubleshoot testing process to ensure accurate recordings.
• Collect and review medical history and medications for prescribed studies.
• Assist in developing department policies and maintain quality of care.
• Support leadership with scheduling, orientation, and staff training.
• Ensure QA standards per regulatory guidelines.
• Independently perform sleep monitoring and serve as a department resource.
