Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Registry by PSG Technologists or NBRC as RRT required.
• BLS certification required.
• Typically 3 years of sleep disorders testing experience.
• Proficient with sleep monitoring equipment and EEG theory.

Responsibilities

• Obtain artifact-free sleep tracings reflecting physiologic sleep processes.
• Analyze sleep records and identify sleep stages; document findings.
• Troubleshoot recording issues to maintain data quality.
• Review medical history and medications to guide study selection.
• Support department policy development and staff training.
