Job summary

Hillcrest HealthCare System seeks a certified Polysomnographic Technologist for night shift in Owasso, OK. You will perform sleep studies, attach electrodes, monitor patients, and report data to physicians under the Sleep Lab Director.

Requirements include CPSGT at hire, RPSGT within one year, and BLS within 14 days. One to three years of experience preferred, with a focus on accurate data documentation.

Qualifications

• Certified Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT) upon hire.
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential within one year of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 14 days of hire.
• Knowledge of sleep disorders, testing methodologies, and patient monitoring practices.
• Skill in operating polysomnographic equipment and related software systems.
• Ability to analyze physiologic data and maintain accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• The Polysomnographic Technologist performs various polysomnograms and other sleep disorder tests under the direction of the Sleep Lab Medical Director.
• Responsible for electrode attachment and monitoring of patients who are participating in a sleep study.
• Monitors the patient throughout the sleep study and documents observations, collects data from various monitors and reports this information to the physician.
• Responsible for CPAP titration and oxygen therapy when applicable.
• Scores reports.
