Job summary

Niagara Bottling, LLC is hiring a Plant Quality Technician for nights at the Louisville plant. You will enforce food safety, quality and lab standards, calibrate equipment, collect samples and conduct tests to ensure products meet specifications.

Ideal candidates read and write English, can work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, and follow GMP policies while lifting up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced environment. You will support HACCP and safety teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and communicate in English.
• Must be able to work 12 hour shift (days or nights) on a rotating schedule.
• Must follow GMP Policy - wear company issued shirt, hat, safety glasses, earplugs and hairnet in production areas.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work under pressure in a very fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute food safety, quality and laboratory requirements as part of QA team.
• Calibrate lab and line equipment for accurate results.
• Collect in-process and finished product samples and conduct testing to meet specifications.
• Review food safety and quality records and participate in HACCP/safety activities.
• Identify and isolate non-conforming product and help troubleshoot issues.
