Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy procedures accurately and within established turn‑around times.
• Transports specimens to the laboratory in a timely manner.
• Monitors specimen integrity and ensures proper documentation for medical necessity.
• Answers phone calls and provides information in a courteous and professional manner.
• Assists in maintaining safety standards per hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Participates in continuing education for professional development.
• Performs AIDET and communicates with patients, staff and physicians respectfully.
• Performs other duties as assigned by laboratory leadership.
