Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist Representative I for a hospital-based role in Roanoke, VA. The position runs Monday through Friday on a night shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM) with weekend rotation and includes a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

You will perform venipuncture, label specimens, and maintain a clean, organized phlebotomy area while providing patient-focused care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Must have proficient phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime may be required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for patients of all ages.
• Accurately label and process specimens per lab protocol.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of phlebotomy carts and work areas.
• Enter data and process specimens, including labeling, centrifuging, and freezing as required.
• Assist with data entry, inventory, and routine clerical tasks as needed.
• Rotate through inpatient, outpatient, and ED settings as scheduled.
