Job summary

Scripps Health invites applications for a Pharmacy Tech II at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. This full-time role features 10-hour night shifts, on a 7-on/7-off schedule, located in La Jolla, San Diego.

You will work under licensed pharmacists to support patient-centered care and high-quality operations. Eligible candidates will have CA Tech license, CPhT within 6 months, and 2 years of pharmacy technician experience; prior sterile compounding experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current California Pharmacy Technician License.
• CPhT certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of 6 months' experience in current practice environment or in sterile compounding.
• 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in any practice setting.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of registered pharmacists.
• Assist with mentoring pharmacy technician I as assigned.
• Perform more advanced pharmacy technician duties that may include billing and/or IV Clean Room responsibilities based on site specific needs.
• May assist pharmacy management with administrative support duties
