As a licensed New York pharmacist, you will oversee dispensing, counseling, immunizations, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the State of New York.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including overnight shifts.
• Strong concentration, mathematical reasoning, and ability to pivot between tasks.
• Physical capability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs., and perform repetitive finger movements.
• Commitment to maintaining regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Help manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunization practices.
• Oversee pharmacy operations as the primary pharmacist-on-duty, including workflow coordination and coaching.
• Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading daily activities when on duty as sole or lead pharmacist.
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and resolving insurance or medication issues.
• Proactively offer and deliver immunizations and educate Pharmacy Technicians on immunization skills.
• Support inventory management with emphasis on protecting cold-chain products.
• Partner with Pharmacy Manager to ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Maintain relevant clinical and technical skills through ongoing training and CE.
• Support access to care through pharmacist-delivered clinical services where permitted by state law.
