Job summary

M Chest Pharmacy seeks a Staff Pharmacist for Sulphur Springs, TX. In this in-person role you will oversee dispensing, review orders for safety, and ensure regulatory compliance within a long-term care setting.

Clinical expertise and leadership are required to guide technicians, support the PIC, and maintain accurate documentation. A TX Pharmacist License and a PharmD/Bachelor's in Pharmacy are mandatory commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current, unrestricted Texas Pharmacist License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, route, interactions, and geriatric considerations.
• Procures and maintains all required documentation in accordance with regulatory and policy standards.
• Conduct audits of automated dispensing machines for accuracy.
• Provide clinical expertise by responding to medication-related questions.
• Assist the PIC with directing and overseeing pharmacy technicians and staff.
• Follow guidelines for preparing all compounds, including IV therapy.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and state/federal regulations.
• Communicate progress toward goals and obstacles to supervisor and management.
