Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Personal Caregiver for a 8pm-8am shift in Smith Valley, NV. The role pays $18.00 per hour with 1:1 client care and a focus on home-based support for seniors.

You’ll assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help manage health needs while maintaining a safe, comfortable home environment. Training and ongoing CEUs are available to grow skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of healthcare experience preferred.
• Clear Background Check & Drug Screen, TB/Physical. We do not test for THC.
• Valid NV driver's license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Compassionate and helping nature; good communicator; ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
